Jamie Drummond is actually a man, but we are more than happy to look for more sources. If you have any that you would recommend, please feel free to send them our way!

These are women worth modeling after, the quotes are amazing. Wow.

I second Barb's comment on the great quotation selections, but that it would be more balanced to have a male quotation or two.

These are great quotes, but I believe there are also men who believe in women and nurture them -- can you find some male quotes?

I love how in Sierra Leone so many of the women we have given loans to (in some cases grants) have used it to build and run schools and educate children. A two for one benefit.

Kevin, this is a great point, and why we are proposing to make microloans, and financial advising available through this network, to help women at the bottom end of the spectrum, build credit and access to financial capital.

It seems to me that more money should be available at a grassroot level of the economy.
Great ideas will come from solving everyday problems. If most women are at the bottom end of the economic spectrum(world wide) then its logical to assume that is where small business loans and start-up money would be most effective.
