What is the theme of our project ?

Renewable energy projects in Romania. 

 

What are the objectives of the project ?

-> “One stop shop” for renewable energy projects in Romania;

-> Create conditions for an online community to evolve. The online community will consist of ALL possible stakeholders in renewable energy projects in Romania;

-> Ease access to financing by Societe Generale through specific banking products – the “Low Pressure” financing;

-> Linking in an informal way (virtually) stakeholders in this type of projects. Encourage knowledge exchange – especially towards applying for funding and applying regulations;

-> Informing on future, past or present renewable energy projects;

-> Highlight benefits of renewable energy projects: financial, environment related, socially related.

 

Who are the stakeholders and thus the target?

Individuals;

Communities – groups of people;

Companies in the public sector;

Companies in the private sector;

Government Institutions;

The European Union;

Local authorities;

Regulators in the energy sector.

 

What is the tool developed and used towards achieving our objectives ?

An online platform, a website.

 

What will the main content of the online platform be ?

- Structured info on projects already undertaken in Romania – information directly from developers, investors, communities on which the project has or had an impact. ABC of the project – how, where and why;

- Short, easy to read, concise versions of official documents, rules and procedures, directives and best practices regarding renewable energy projects;

- A structured forum-based area of the platform for stakeholders to interact with each other;

- “How to” versions meant to give a general overview of first procedures in order to undertake a project.  For example access to Societe Generale’s “Low Pressure” financing product.
