In fact youth unemployement is even higher right now.. we have now clearly overpassed 40%!! And I am now wondering how may affect the new retirement law that the governement is preparing right now. They want to change the retirement age from 65 to 67 or even 70!!! This would eventually make it even harder for young people to find an appropiate job. Your proposal could be very useful if the law is approved!
However... meanwhile.. what about emigrating to the Netherlands? XD |

Ton commentaire nous a particulièrement interpelé et après quelques recherches nous nous sommes rendu compte qu'étant donné que le taux de chômage est calculé sur la base de la population active, les étudiants qui n'ont pas d'activité professionnelle ne sont pas inclus dans la base.

I hope the project goes forward and becomes a reality. In Spain, the issue of unemployment is something that concern to everyone, and more to the young generation.
I expect more news about the project!

As an example, an article from one of the most prestigous newspaper in Spain, 'La Vanguardia' says:
2/03/2010
"El paro sube en más de 82.000 personas en febrero, un 2% más que el mes anterior"
we would like to highlight the following paragrah:
"Y por supuesto, sigue golpeando con fuerza a los jóvenes menores de 25 años el desempleo se incrementa en febrero en 18.297 personas respecto al mes anterior, y entre los mayores de 25 sube en 63.835."
this article shows the difficulties to get job among young people.

Merci pour ta remarque, c'est un fait que nous n'avions pas pris en compte et il a toute son importance dans notre analyse. Nous le prendrons en compte lors de la rédaction finale de notre projet.

Tout d'abord félicitations pour votre projet et bonne chance.
Une remarque de taille : les chiffres Eurostat pour la France sont certes exacts mais n'ont aucun sens : car il s'agit d'une classe d'âge ce qui inclue notamment tous les étudiants comme vous qui ne sont ni au chômage ni en recherche d'emploi...
En réalité, si l'on ne prend que les moins de 25 ans qui sont au chômage et qui sont en recherche, on retombe sur un taux de chômage équivalent à 1 ou 2 points près à la moyenne nationale (moins de 10%). Ce qui n'est pas acceptable notamment pour l'avenir d'un pays, mais néanmoins change quelque peu la donne de départ.
La situation est bien plus dramatique pour les séniors...
Même les politiques et les médias français font la même erreur.
Attention à toujours prendre du recul sur des données même labellisées par des organismes officiels : toujours recouper et toujours avoir l'œil critique et distancié...
Désolé si cette dernière remarque fait un peu vieux con mais pourtant...

Wow! I could not imagine Spain had such a problem with youth unemployment! Your idea will work for sure in this country!
I am myself living in the Netherlands and it seems I'll be safe! Only 6,5% unemployment =)
