Montenegro is country with a very long history. Alhtough recently, we got back our idenpendency ,its without doubt one of the oldest country and nation in Europe. Like many Balkan nations, i do bealive we are hard workers, very hospitable and genoerous. Of course we do have some caracter flows, such as stubbornness and temperament. Geographicaly, Montenegro is a small country, but our people avoid talking about that ::))) Yet, we have many natural riches,which can only be seen, and not proprely expressed with words. So, if u like what u saw from Google pictures, my advice to you and others, is to come and visit us :) .

Hello All, i wish to thank you for your support and comments. Hopefully,we have just begane :))
@ Steve : I do agree that internet did speed up things,and surely (but slowly) , people from all part of the world, will be informed about all major activity from all over. Recent events,are but a minor representative of what internet can do (Egypt,Libia,London..) ,and surely the free flow of information was, in my opinion, the major reason for socialism to break down( which we were part for quite a time ). It is no big secret, that this part of Balkans (and surroundings)were, in history, mainly influenced by one individual-ruler/king ..and that we were bound to his will.It only makes sense when u check our history,where u can find great wars for every 50 years back ..reaching 1000 A.D. I do bealive that in such a hostility enviroment , democracy is just an empty word ....for the very simple reason ; there was no time to debate, but to act =swiftly , and that can only be done by the authorithy of one man. So, it is not an easy thing to change a habit of living for the past millenia, but for the past 10 years, Montenegro did great job ( and other surrounding countries as well) . So, the time is on our side and we do bealive that we are walking the right path. However,nothing can be done in hurry :)))

@Victoria; Respectfully, I disagree with your prognosis. Dreams are doable; "where is a will, there is a way". The Balkans are no different than other countries in that regions or other parts of the world. The only losers are the ones refusing to get up after the last fall. The Balkans, most are still young as independent countries, can and should have it all. Many of the old hands are really from the past and just barely broke lose of the old regime. They may not comprehend their opportunity, but the current young people should pick up the torch and hold it high. Unless the young demands its due freedom from institutional slavery (stuck in the ditch of government dependence) their economic and personal lives will be limited. Agree, it might be comfortable to a degree when one doesn't know anything different. That option must not be acceptable with the spread of Internet and knowledge. Things change faster today than 30, 50 or 100 years ago. It is up to the young who has the future in their hands. Makes no difference what country they are in.
That's like an utopia... sound good but in reality ...hehe I guess you've never been on the Balkans ...first you have the system of old hands working and making decisions about the future of us young people... but those old hand didn't learn much about the changes that are going on in the world ... and I'm not talking about politicians ... the whole economy is affected by those old hands ... and if we suddenly leave it to it self (speaking about Bosnia,Montenegro,Serbia) it going to drown even lower....
@Viktoria: Balkans are the same as any others when allowed to act on their own behalves. The most terrifying thing for anyone is the unknown and change. People are comfortable within their surroundings even if its not ideal. What all young and visionaries should be concerned is the "status qua". Unless the young and the restless make effort to change, things remain the same.

@Steve I know that also,but looking the scene of the Balkans there is a lot of knowledge missing for the accomplishment of that ... people mostly are afraid of changes and of what comes with them. That's the thing we have to change,and also we have to proof that young people are the future and the salvation in the process of transition ...
@Victoria; Countries entrusted to their rulers can not succeed until the public is allowed to prosper on their own. Who best to make decesions for their own fate than the individual? When Government is least visibble, than the populace will advance. Once the public must hide actions, fruits of their labor from the prying eyes of the Governments, its a struggle between the ruled and the rulers

Until Governments and large institutions realize thir needed supportive role in private endeovors, both the EU ad the USA will suffocate under their over sized burdens. The best way for economies to prosper is to let them be. Allow private industry to decide based on demands and needs what their action to follow. Governments on both sides of the Ocean, are out of touch with their populace, thus pursue goals that are neither good or lasting for them
