I think the key is to successfully link the policies and actions related to sustainability to profitability, so that making a sustainable choice becomes the only rational choice
I absolutely agree. Moreover, in the recent years financial institutions have been extensively criticized for their heartless and self-centered behavior, trying to come out of the crisis at any cost. That is why banks should be the first to embrace the principles of performing sustainably, investing ethically, reaching out to the community and leading by example.
Well I think Claire here has definitely a point. We realize that the only way to get out of this crisis is to renovate our whole economy from within and we believe that CSR will play a key role in the restructuring process. Not by chance one of our key values is 'investing ethically'. Think about how different the world would look if everyone invested their money in companies that do not harm the environment or the society in the long run...
In this world governed by capitalism, new values have to be introduced in society, companies from every sector must put their greed aside and provide utility to our global community
